My first experience renting outfits

I LOVE a brand spankin’ new outfit! Something that makes you giddy to go somewhere and show it off, or makes you want to wear it every day because you feel sooooo dang cute and fresh 💁🏼😂. But who has the budget to buy a new outfit every time you want to go somewhere? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Not me.

A few weeks ago a friend mentioned renting a dress for an event and that’s when I came into the world of wardrobe renting 😍❤️. I’m currently in between sizes after having babies and starting a healthier lifestyle so it’s difficult to justify spending money on clothes that may not fit in a few months, so I’m really excited to try this!

I researched a few different companies and felt that FashionPass was the right one to try first. Their inventory seemed to match my style and they carry the brands I typically like.

The gist of the whole thing is you pay a monthly fee to rent a certain number clothes at time with unlimited swaps. I’m starting off with the lowest “Socialite” plan where you rent 2 clothing items and 1 accessory at a time. After I’m done I just send them back (free 2 day shipping both ways) and then pick what I want next!!!

If there is something I absolutely must have and decide I want it forever I just keep it instead of sending it back and they only charge me 80% of the retail price. Nice!

You guys…they even dry clean everything when you send it back so you just wear it and ship it back dirty 😂 AMAZING!

A personal stylist sent me a sweet handwritten note and a few extra items like a bralette and a sweater which was really sweet! I had a few questions and she returned my email within an hour, so they seem to have really personable customer service! A rare things these days.

I was so excited when my first order arrived! I picked out this adorable feather top by Lost + Wander and some Free People ripped skinny jeans. I LOVE the ruffle on this shirt!!! Ruffles in an unexpected place makes it even cuter!

And YOU GUYS, these jeans are sooooo comfy and stretchy. I could probably sleep in them!!! I’m a little obsessed with anything from Free People and I’ve really wanted to try some ripped skinny jeans so these were perfect!

The accessory I chose this time was a BRIXTON hat and it’s going to be hard to send it back! I love hats but they are so hard to find in the midwest (unless you are looking for a legit cowboy hat 😂). The brim is really wide and I feel insanely cool when I wear it… just sayin’.

So far, FashionPass has totally exceeded my expectations. I’m excited to try it for a few months and let you guys know how it goes! 😍

P.S. If any of my readers want to try it out, you can use my code GRACIE at checkout to get $60 OFF your first month (which is like just $19 total!!!) You can cancel any time! Pay attention to sizes though because they’re a bit limited in my opinion. They have S/M/L and jean sizes up to 30, but I haven’t noticed anything larger than that yet.
